Death
Reading about death may seem a morbid
thing to do. However, when we look at life
as our chance to learn as we go,
and when we have learnt the lessons we
need to know, then we return to where we have come
from. Death is then a kind of graduation
ceremony, a celebration of having passed through
the trials of life. That is my ethos, my
belief.
However, so many of us go through
life fearing our own death or the death of others.
Maybe it is just the unknowingness of what’s on the
other side. Or maybe it is the type of death we will
go through, fearing that it will be painful or
traumatic, premature or prolonged. Even Jesus
was petrified of his own death.
But he did manage to hold on, however, to the hope that in
life after death there is the love,
peace and understanding that we are
ultimately destined and longing for.
Death is only sad for those left
behind. Last year I lost both my Father and my lovely
Uncle, within 3 months of each other.
I knew of both my Father’s passing
and my Uncle’s before they had “officially “been
pronounced dead. They work with me daily, and in some areas have
helped me more being on the other side, than they
possible could in this life, here.
Whatever your colour, religious beliefs,
or perhaps you have no belief
in the afterlife , it is important whilst we are
here, experiencing everything your life has to offer
that we show our appreciation to
each other, face to face, thank them for what
they mean to us and do for us.
If life is our chance to learn and
grow then we need to openly help others to see their
gifts and talents,to lovingly help those who are in
need ,to help them discover a way to overcome any
weakness or shortcomings, which at times we
all have to face, sooner or
later.
After this physical life has
ended, your spiritual life force goes on
and on forever, changing and growing as it moves into
the spirit world and beyond our own human
comprehension.
Meduimship may just offer a glimpse of what
lies ahead, but one thing is for sure: it is a
journey we will all make.
